awesome tour. thanks for Agus from Rukmana Bali Tour. Making our holiday in Bali unfergettble. we will recommended my friend join tour with them .
Great tour in a comfortable 8 seater. I just gave a high level idea of what we wanted to do. 2 adults + 15y.o. and 11y.o. and he organised everything. We did an ATV tour which was great, we then split and 2 went into Ubud to look around and the other 2 went white water rafting. We just made these decisions on the fly so he had to organise whilst we were out and about. This was no issue for Tudi and he worked it all out and managed to drop everyone off and pick us all up without any hassles. The driver and car worked out to be about AU$50 for 10hrs so that alone was well worth the money! I looked at the overall price including the ATV and rafting and it seems like they made no extra money on the associated tours. Highly recommend.
We are not happy with the service that was provided to us. They took us to snorkel but the water was extremely dirty and rubish everywhere. They also offered videos and photos for an extra charge but they don't look good at all.
After carefully reading many reviews for Rukmana Bali Tours and researching many others, I felt comfortable making a booking for the half day tour for Uluwatu sunset on TripAdvisor. As per the tour description, this was a half day tour consisting of 7 hours and 3 locations (Padang Padang Beach, Uluwatu Temple and Kecak dance, and a dinner at Jimbaran beach). Dinner was not included in my ticket but the description indicated the driver would take you to Jimbaran beach for dinner. I was picked up at 2pm. I confirmed the itinerary with the driver (Riko). He seemed a little confused and said first stop is the coffee plantation which is not on this tour's list - I corrected him and we got on the same page: Padang Padang beach, Uluwatu Temple and Kecak dance, Jimbaran beach dinner. Cool - expectations and itinerary set. We first went to Padang Padang beach, then the Temple, and then Kecak dance. By the time we were done it was 7pm (5 hours and 2 locations into the trip). I told Riko that for Jimbaran beach I would like to go to Sundara instead of Ganesha as he recommended. Riko indicated that the tour was only half a day and it was over and if we wanted to extend then it would be 75k rp/hour extra. I was a bit taken back, showed him the TripAdvisor booking and details which showed the 3 locations and duration of 7 hours. I explained that we have only been to 2 locations and only used up 5 hours so far so there is still one more leg to the trip remaining that I paid for. He called his manager who also said the trip was finished. I was so shocked! We confirmed the itinerary before and all was good. Why change your mind now? If Riko and the company have done this so many times before then this shouldn't be an issue. Or if it is then indicate something in your descriptions. This literally came out of nowhere. They picked me up at 2pm, knew the dance would finish 7pm, yet they brought up this issue anyways despite confirming the itinerary in the very beginning. Finally being very frustrated, I told Riko to drop me off at Sundara and call it a day. I took a Grab taxi back to my hotel afterwards. I understand Bali is reopening, tourism is just coming back, and times are hard. But this attitude tells me that money is more important than customer satisfaction and repeat business. On other tours I've been on recently, drivers and managers never showed this attitude and went way above hour limits or whatever - they were well tipped, left with great reviews, and their contacts given to friends coming to Bali. You're better off looking at other tour companies with better customer service and more caring management.
We had a bit of miscommunication regarding the pick up location but this was resolved right away thanks to their remarkable customer service. Kadek Nova was our driver and he was great. Kadek drove us to and from Blue Lagoon and made sure our backpacks were secured while we left for the boat. He even made a spot at the Supermarket since we were craving some sweets after a day of swimming.
Great driver in Bali
